School of Journalism and Broadcasting Language Proficiency Exam Language Exam 2 will count as the Language Proficiency Exam for students in JB 2003. You must score a 70 or better on this exam to enter the School of Journalism and Broadcasting. If you fail to score at least a 70 on the exam, you may retake it only once and no earlier than six weeks later. Failure to pass the exam a second time will preempt registration for any upper-division courses within the School of Journalism and Broadcasting. For more on the exam, click on this link.
